Dr Roupas was born in Canada. He received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Manitoba. He then completed two years of post-graduate studies at Carolinas Medical Center doing a general practice residency. Having served as chief dental resident in his second year, Dr Roupas was involved in the care of traumatic dental injuries, the treatment of medically compromised individuals and also had the opportunity to work with various dental specialties on a daily basis. Dr Roupas has had extensive continuing education at the highly regarded Dawson Institute, and the Pankey Institute. Dr Roupas has extensive experience in the management of complex dental concerns.

Dr Roupas has devoted his professional life to learning the latest advanced technologies and innovative techniques. A combination of experience, skill and enthusiasm helps his patients to achieve healthy and beautiful smiles.

He then completed two years of post-graduate study at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), doing a general practice residency. Having served as chief dental resident in his second year, Dr. Roupas was involved in the care of traumatic dental injuries, the treatment of medically compromised individuals and also had the opportunity to work with various dental specialties on a daily basis. Dr. Roupas continues to be active at CMC and is a current staff member with senior attending status. Dr. Roupas also has extensive education in institutions such as the Dawson Institute and L.D. Pankey Institute.

I was extremely skeptical and scared of getting all four of my wisdom teeth removed at once. In fact, I was even afraid of having just one removed! Because of my fear, I kept postponing the procedure for an entire year.

This year, I finally decided to go ahead with it, but I was still very nervous. When I shared my fears with Dr. Roupas, he made me feel so comfortable and reassured. He patiently explained the entire procedure, addressed all my concerns, guided me on how to manage and minimize pain, and provided clear instructions for everything from the surgery to at-home recovery care.

What touched me the most was that he even took the time to call me afterward to check on how I was doing.

Honestly, I don’t think I would have found the courage to go through with this procedure if it weren’t for his reassurance, patience, and encouragement.
